Deep garnet-purple colored, it needs a little coaxing to bring out notes of juicy plums and black currant cordial, followed by hints of dried herbs, truffles, and tar, with a waft of licorice. The full-bodied palate delivers savory layers with a grainy texture and just enough freshness, finishing earthy.
