The 2023 Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, all clone 4, aged in 100% new Taransaud barrels. Deep garnet-purple colored, it charges out with powerful notes of crème de cassis, red currant preserves, and candied violets, leading to hints of pencil lead, mint tea, and fragrant soil. Full-bodied, the palate is so good and intense it makes you want to cry—the tension and tannin ripeness are beyond fault, with dense fruit and floral layers, finishing with epic length.
