Lots of spicy cherry, dried herbs, and sappy flower/sassafras notes emerge from the 2022 Pinot Noir Hyde Vineyard, a very pretty, perfumed, complex Pinot Noir that has soft tannins, a good spine of acidity and sense of freshness, and outstanding length. It plays in the soft, expressive style of the vintage and will drink nicely over the coming 4-6 years. This comes all from the Calera clone and saw 15% stems aged in 50% new French oak for 15 months.
