Deep garnet-purple in color, it bursts with creme de cassis, boysenberry preserves, mocha, and cardamom scents, plus fertile loam, truffles, stewed tea, and dried herbs. Medium to full-bodied, it is firm and grainy with loads of savory layers and a long finish.
