CS SM 2019 Wine Advocate 95-97

Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Spring Mountain District has a deep garnet-purple color and fragrant notions of warm cassis, blackberry pie and menthol with wafts of chocolate box, licorice and potpourri. The full-bodied palate is taut and firmly textured with grainy tannins supporting the savory flavor layers, finishing long and minerally. 200 cases are due to be made. (Tasted as a barrel sample.)
