Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Cimarossa Vineyard displays a deep garnet-purple color. It leaps from the glass with lifted red and black currant preserves notes plus suggestions of black raspberries, ripe plums, candied violets and tapenade. The full-bodied, muscular palate is firm and rugged at this youthful stage, delivering a refreshing line and long, earthy/tarry finish. 150 cases are due to be made. (Tasted as a barrel sample.)
