2023 Hirondelle 95 VIN

The 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon Hirondelle Vineyard is a dark, mysterious wine. Black cherry fruit, mocha, espresso and dried herbs open with a bit of coaxing. The Hirondelle, from Clos du Val’s home vineyard, comes across as a bit closed today, but that’s Stags Leap. Floral overtones and lovely inner sweetness are suggestive of what is to come in time.
