This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard and aged for 18 months in 100% new French oak. Drawn from two separate blocks, the vines were planted in 1996 to Clone 4. Impressively polished and supremely suave, the wine is full-bodied and layered, shaped by velvety-textured tannins – that iron fist in a velvet glove character. Scorched-earth notes underscore a spectrum of blue-black and red fruit, all carried by a deep, earthy, mineral-driven finish that is a defining hallmark of this iconic site.
2023 Amici Missouri Hopper Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon
Balance with structure and complexity. Intense blackberry, lead-pencil, iodine and oyster-shell aromas. Medium-bodied with superpolished, round tannins that are endless in the finish. Goes on and on. Stunning. Archetypal Napa Valley at a top level. Incredible qualtiy. Best wine ever from this winery. Drinkable but better in a couple of years.

The 2023 Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard Cabernet Franc is made from 76% Cabernet Franc, 24% Cabernet Sauvignon. Deep garnet-purple colored, it leaps with vibrant notes of black raspberries and kirsch, leading to a core of wild blueberries, pencil shavings, menthol, and cedar, with a touch of iron ore. The full-bodied palate delivers a firm frame of grainy tannins with a lively line defining the earth-laced black fruit layers, finishing long and ferrous.
2023 Amici Dr. Crane Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon
The 2023 Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, all clone 4, aged in 100% new Taransaud barrels. Deep garnet-purple colored, it charges out with powerful notes of crème de cassis, red currant preserves, and candied violets, leading to hints of pencil lead, mint tea, and fragrant soil. Full-bodied, the palate is so good and intense it makes you want to cry—the tension and tannin ripeness are beyond fault, with dense fruit and floral layers, finishing with epic length.
