The 2023 Hyde Vineyard Pinot Noir is medium to deep ruby-purple colored. Black cherries, wild blueberries, and lilac scents gallop from the glass, followed by suggestions of cedar chest, sassafras, and mossy tree bark. The full-bodied palate is dense with black and blue fruit layers, framed by grainy tannins and seamless freshness, finishing long and opulent.

“The 2023 Pinot Noir Hyde Vineyard is a rich, boisterous wine. Vibrant red/purplish fruit, lavender, herbs, sweet spice and mint give this mid-weight, refreshing Pinot a good bit of exuberance. A dollop of stems (15%) is not especially evident. The sustained, delicate finish is a thing of beauty.”
