Winemaking Notes

The 2021 Amici Windsor Ridge Chardonnay is a rich and refreshing wine sourced from vineyards on the rolling hillsides on the eastern edge of Russian River Valley. The nose is filled with delightful aromas of crisp granny smith apples, fragrant vanilla bean, and zesty lemon oil. On the palate, flavors of pineapple, white flower, and roasted hazelnut intertwine throughout the lively, mineral-driven finish.

“One of my favorites in the lineup was the 2021 Chardonnay Windsor Ridge Vineyard, which comes from a great site in the Russian River Valley. It has exotic notes of lemon oil, orange blossom, brioche, and a kiss of honey in its medium to full-bodied, fresh, focused, elegant profile. I love it today but see no reason it shouldn’t keep for 4-6 years or so.”

A tight chardonnay with mineral, lemon and green apple. Medium body. Crisp and linear. Flint and aniseed. Drink now.
