The 2015 Amici Cellars Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon lives up to the storied reputation of To Kalon as one of the finest vineyards in the country. The power of this heritage vineyard lies in it distinct nose with aromas of mineral driven clay and loam, black olive with currant and cherry liquor. The palate is driven by dense minerality, dried dark fruits, plum and roasted herbs .The power of this wine plays with our senses from the moment of inhale, though its mineral and earth flavors and finishes with an impressive finish that continues on the palate.

“From one of the finest vineyards on the valley floor, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley To Kalon Vineyard is a smoking good wine, and an incredible example of this site and vintage. Black cherries, candied violets, damp earth and hints of incense all flow from this gorgeous, sexy, opulent beauty that has fine tannin, the gorgeous complexity of the vintage, fine tannin and a great, great finish. This blockbuster can be enjoyed anytime over the coming two decades.”

Wine Advocate

“Composed of 88% Cabernet Sauvignon and 12% Cabernet Franc, aged for 22 months in 100% new French oak, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon To Kalon gives a very deep garnet-purple color and wonderfully showy, flamboyant nose of crème de cassis, blackberry tart and black forest cake with underlying suggestions of Indian spices and incense. The densely packed, medium to full-bodied palate fills the mouth with black fruit preserves and exotic spices, supported by firm, grainy tannins and great freshness, finishing long.”

James Suckling
