Rich and Layered”

Winemaking Notes

This plush, seductive Cabernet opens with aromas of ripe cassis and blackberry layered with notes of toast, vanilla, allspice and clove. A lush palate showcases flavors of ripe fruit and complex oak notes, silken texture and a long, balanced finish. Combining the lush, ripe fruit of valley floor vineyards along with the structure and ageability of Napa Valley’s best mountain appellations, the 2015 Amici Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon is a wine rich in dark fruits and hints of spice. It drinks beautifully now but will age gracefully for 5-10 years.

“A rich and layered cabernet with chocolate, currant and hints of spice. Full body, round and juicy. Very pretty and delicious. Linear. Shows tension and brightness.”

The Wine Advocate

“The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon has a medium to deep garnet-purple color and spicy nose of cloves, cardamom and Sichuan pepper over a core of cassis and menthol. Medium to full-bodied with a great core of expressive black fruit and spicy undertones, it delivers a velvety texture and good length.”

Ripe & Sexy

Jeb Dunnuck

“The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley is rock solid and offers plenty of cassis, Asia spices, incense and forest floor. Ripe, sexy, forward and sexy, with beautiful tannin quality, it shines for its elegance and freshness, and should age gracefully.”
