Firm and silky tannins”

Winemaking Notes

Combining the lush, ripe fruit of valley floor vineyards along with the structure and ageability of Napa Valley’s best mountain appellations, the 2014 Amici Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon is a wine rich in dark fruits and earthy notes.

A rich, opaque purple in color, this wine offers up aromas of ripe blackberry, black currant, pie spice and vanilla, revealing greater spice, tobacco and notes of bittersweet chocolate on the palate. Very well-balanced with a long, decadent finish.

“The freshness to this is impressive with violets, stones, currants and rose leaves. Medium to full body and firm and silky tannins. Very beautiful for the money.”

Wine Advocate

“Juicy and fresh red fruit meets an herbal woody component in this wine—a nod to its inclusion of 12% Cabernet Franc. Firm integrated tannins support the full-bodied frame of approachable richness and plush texture, working toward a seamless whole.”
