2002 Amici Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Tony Biagi, Winemaker

“A knockout wine!”

Winemaking Notes

The 2002 vintage in Napa Valley was truly exceptional, and is widely regarded as one of the best vintages of the 2000s. Our 2002 Amici Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a delightful wine that is drinking exceptionally well right now. On the nose, the wine boasts an impressive array of aromas on the nose, with hints of tobacco and black olive. The wine’s sweetness is perfectly balanced, and a touch of Merlot and Petite Verdot gives it a full-bodied, luxurious mouthfeel. The soft tannins allow the currant-blackberry flavors to shine on the palate. All in all, this is an excellent wine that would be a wonderful addition to any wine collector’s cellar.
