Winemaking Notes
Sourced from premier vineyards in the heart of Russian River Valley, the 2019 Amici Pinot Noir showcases the classic Russian River Valley characteristics. This medium-bodied wine opens with a long deep nose of strong candied tree fruit and berries. Aromas of dark cherry vanilla tart, black raspberry, rose, and cedar box lead into a savory earth driven palate. On the mouth, ripe summer plum and dark chocolate melt into a savory finish with balance and silk.

Reviews
James Suckling
“Ripe-plum, red-cherry, pine-cone, cedar and vanilla aromas. Some iodine, too. It’s medium-to full-bodied with soft tannins. Gently bitter with a warm, medium finish. Drink now.”
Jeb Dunnuck
“There are around 3,000 cases of the 2019 Pinot Noir Russian River Valley, which was brought up in 40% new French oak. This medium to full-bodied, ripe, yet also fresh and lively 2019 has a darker, richer style in its black cherry, mulberry, scorched earth, and earthy, forest aromas and flavors. I love its balance, it has richness without weight, and a great finish. Drink it over the coming 4-6 years.”
